Open-ended Fund
A fund whose investors can redeem their interests at their option, typically regulated under the Mutual Funds Act.
An open-ended fund offers investor-initiated redemption or repurchase rights, usually at specified dealing dates and subject to notice, gates or other restrictions. Open-ended does not mean immediate or unconditional liquidity. Cayman regulatory classification depends on the full statutory definition and the structure’s terms, rather than redemption frequency alone.
